Hip-hop’s “Enemy of the State,” or Lupe Fiasco, recently gave word that his fourth studio album and sequel to his debut release titled, Food & Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album, will be a double disc consisting of a two-part story. “It’s a masterpiece man, it’s real good, it’s real fucking good,” says the Atlantic Records recording artist. In the same interview Lupe went on to divulge the album’s first single will release May 22, and staying true to his word he released the single’s cover art via various social networks yesterday. Dubbed “Around My Way (Freedom Ain’t Free),” the cover art features an American flag in a barcode-like design, so it’s expected the award-winning artist will return to his righteous methods delivering some mind-empowering lyrics.
