Not content to let Microsoft have all the attention, Sony has released a blurry teaser for its Playstation 4 just one day ahead of its rival’s big Xbox reveal. There are a lot if close ups and difficult-to-decipher geometry, but the intent here is clear – Sony is going to show us what the PS4 actually looks like. The company got some flack for holding its big reveal in February without actually revealing the console, and now it’s saying that its ready to do right.

Sony also recently teased a reveal for a likely Playstation 4 game called Panopticon, interestingly scheduled as the same day release for the Microsoft’s event. As John Gaudiosi and Paul Tassi have recently been debating, eyeballs are crucial are crucial at this stage in the next console race. You can see this horse race play out in the timing of these announcements. Mindshare is the only currency in the console war right now – while Sony jumped out ahead revealing its console first, Microsoft now has a big opportunity to answer some of the questions left dangling by the PS4.

Automaker Aston Martin revisits its 100 years of history and looks to the future with its new CC100 Speedster concept. Deriving its inspiration from the DBR1, the racer that brought home the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1959, the body of the car is a nod to its past while the materials that compose it are decidedly next-generation. Along with the interior, the body is crafted out of carbon fiber supplied by Multimatic, which was contracted by Aston Marton due to their expertise with low volume materials. Powered by a 6.0-litre V12 engine, the car made its debut yesterday, completing a lap at Germany’s 24 Hours of Nürburgring race. The car is touted as doing 0-62 mph in a little over four seconds and topping out at 180mph.

The last few days has seen Kanye West being talked about in the news , but with the artist’s Saturday Night Live performance last night, a lot of news have been unveiled. Aside from playing two new songs, and unveiling what looks to be his new album title “Yeezus”, Kanye was also wearing the red/red Nike Air Yeezy 2 sneaker, the first new colorway after the official two colors, that released in the summer of 2012.

I intend to (of course) keep you posted about the release of the sneaker. The possibility exits that these could be scheduled for release with the album. Stay tuned.
